Simple Modern Spring Wedding at PIAKKA | St. Paul, MN
I was so honored to photograph Matt + Abbey’s beautiful wedding at PIAKKA in St. Paul, Minnesota. The venue’s modern aesthetic perfectly complemented the couple’s vision for their special day. The simplicity of the venue and the natural feel of the surroundings allowed the couple’s personalities to shine through in the photos. The genuine smiles and laughter captured in each image tell the story of their love and commitment to each other. Abbey and Matt went a very simple route for their wedding. They had no wedding party and spent every second of their wedding day together — they even helped each other get dressed. Matt zipped up Abbey’s dress, and Abbey straightened Matt’s tie. Not only was their wedding dessert ice cream, but it was also a food truck just for custom ice cream. How cool is that?! I feel grateful to have been a part of such a beautiful celebration of love and to have had the opportunity to create lasting memories for the happy couple.
